About: Bucatini means pierced and is a long thick type of spaghetti with a hole that runs down the center of it, making it a kind of tubular shape. Found here as a manufactured product in Italy its is still available as fresh pasta. It is served with any number of traditional sauces. It is also a good pasta for baking in the oven.
